There is no doubt that Prague is a beautiful city, particularly at sunrise and sunset. There is so much to see and do! We spent a few days here in 2018 and loved wandering the cobblestone streets. Its a busy place but that only adds to it’s charm.

As you can see below, everyone enjoys the city. Young and old are out walking and sitting and paddling. With clear skies and a mild temperature, it is a must to be out and about.

If you go wandering around the streets, you can stumble across all sorts of things. Like the Lennon Wall or the John Lennon pub!
Ever wonder how to get sunrise shots without all the people like the image below? Well, you do have to get up very early. When it’s dark in fact. Then make your way to where you want to shoot and set yourself up. Then you just have to wait. Using a tripod is a must, as well as a long open shutter. That way any walkers by will not appear in the final image – like the one at the top of the page. We got up very early and were at the bridge when it was still dark. Getting to a spot to do a sunrise shot at sunrise is really missing out on getting the best golden light, plus you have dozen’s of other trying to do the same thing. A half hour after we got the shots we needed, the bridge was full with other photographers wanting their sunrise shots too.
