During the spring of 2015 we drove up to the north of England to the Cumbria area, so that we could visit the site of some Roman Forts and in particular Hadrian’s Wall and the Birdoswald Roman Fort.
We headed off for the walk from the Fort to the Sycamore Gap tree.
It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon – walking along and seeing historical areas.
